    UPCOMING EVENTS:

    OPENING DAY -  TO BE ANNOUNCED! 

    for the 2020 calendar year from 1:00-4:00. Enjoy a tour and refreshments.

    PIONEER DAYS - DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED!
    The museum hosts our annual Pioneer Days for students in the county as they study Iowa history. A variety of hands on demonstrations give these 5th and 6th grade students a taste of Iowa life from years past.

    It’s always a hit for the students!

    Sunday, June 14 Summer Festival Day 12:00-4:00
    Serving food from 11:00 to 1:00

    • Tours are available 1:00 to 4:00.
    • Tractor Ride around Rockwell City (weather permitting). 1:00 line up - ride will start at 1:30
    • Visit the Eagle Scout Project—restoration of the historic “Teacher Cabin” on the front lawn.
    • “Ride the Rails!” The museum’s newest display is a train room, with several working models running through a miniature city landscape.
    • It’s a terrific way to enjoy a Sunday afternoon with your family and it’s all FREE!

    The Museum is open 1:00 to 4:00 pm Saturday and Sunday. Opening day to be announced due to the Covid-19 virus. We will close for the season on Sunday, September 27th. Tours during the week call our Secretary 712-297-7440 or our President 712-297-5081 and we can arrange it.
